Returns & Refund Policy 

We, at Indie Silks, aim to ensure the best shopping experience on our website. In a step towards that, here are our cancellation and refund policies so that if you wish to cancel an order, return or exchange it, you will have clear instructions about our policies. 

Return/Exchange Policy 

• Every product eligible for refund or exchange should be unused and not damaged.
• Please ensure that the product contains all the tags and is returned in its original packaging.
• Any customized or specially-stitched product is not eligible for return or exchange since it cannot be sold again.
• Any return/exchange request must be made within 7 days of the product delivery. Returns beyond 7 days are not accepted.
• Unfortunately, there is no exchange policy/return policy for international customers, except for the cases where the product is defected.
• The exchange policy is applicable only one time.
• Products that are sold during a sale are not eligible for refund or exchange.
• For returns or exchanges, the shipping charges will be paid by the customer. 

Cancellation Policy 

• Handcrafted merchandize cannot be cancelled.
• All the cancellations must be done within 24 hours of purchase for international shipping.
• In a case of cancellation for domestic shipping, please do so before the product is dispatched. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
• Any stitched and customized product such as a saree with fall cannot be cancelled.

Refund Policy 

• A full refund shall be made if you cancel your order before the product is shipped.
• In any case, the refunds shall not exceed the actual amount paid by you.
• In case where the delivery gets delayed due to unforeseen events (such as God’s or Govt. intervention), there shall be no refund, exchange, or cancellation on any product.
• The refund shall be initiated within 2-3 working days and shall be credited to your bank account depending on the payment option.

Note: Indie Silks bring to you authentic and handcrafted products from local Indian artisans. In case you feel any product has minor print variations, slubs, or if there is any unevenness in the texture, it may be the result of the inherent characteristics of the craft and the hand-crafted process and not because of any damage or defectiveness. 

While you can always request an exchange or cancellation as per our policies, it will be a loss for the artists since many times such products do not come back in the original condition and hence cannot be sold again.

Shipping Policy 

For Indian Customers: 

1. We ship across India via Speedpost, Delhivery, Bluedart, DTDC, and Professional Couriers.
2. We offer free shipping for orders above Rs 2000.
3. For orders below Rs 2000, shipping charges will be applied based on the location and pin code. The charges will be automatically added at the time of checkout.
4. Once the order is dispatched, it will be delivered within 3-5 days. In case of any unforeseen event, the delivery may get delayed. Any delays or changes to your order timing will be communicated via email. You can also contact our customer care services to get an update.
5. Customized products can take 5-10 days to dispatch.
6. We will send the tracking information for the product via email. You can also use our website to track your order.
7. Delivery of all the orders is done to the address provided by the customer. In case there is any change in the order, kindly drop us a mail at support@indiesilks.com within two hours of placing the order.
8. All prices are inclusive of GST.

For International Customers:  

1. Our delivery partners are FedEx and DHL.
2. Shipping charges for our international customers will be calculated during check out, based on the order value, weight, and dimensions of the order. If order value is below 75 USD, there will be a flat delivery charge of 12 USD.
3. Any custom charges/VAT/Local duties/Import duties have to be borne by the customer, at the time of the delivery.
4. Once the order is placed, they are delivered within 7-10 working days. However, the delivery date might get extended due to customs process or any unforeseen event.
5. Any cancellations regarding the order must be made within 48 hours from the purchase.
6. Delivery of all the orders is done to the address provided by the customer. In case there is any change in the order, kindly drop us a mail at support@indiesilks.com within two hours of placing the order.
